This product is a universal wheel cap, not specific to any particular car model. It is compatible with steel wheels (metal wheels) that can fit a genuine wheel cap. The installation method for the MQQNEYES original wheel cap is essentially the same as for the genuine wheel cap.
Please note that scratches may occur on the wheel during installation and removal. Thank you for your understanding in advance.
To ensure proper installation, please follow the steps below as a reference during the process.
1. Please press the MOON Discs IR against the air valve, aligning it properly.
The back of the MOON Discs IR is equipped with a metal ring to fit the disc onto the wheel rim. However, there is one spot where the ring is recessed to accommodate the wheel’s air valve. Please align the disc with this recessed area when pressing it onto the wheel.
The key point is not to push the disc in too deeply at the start.
2. Carefully tap the entire edge of the MOON Discs IR evenly to fit it onto the rim.
While keeping the point you’re pressing fixed with your hands or knees, carefully tap the entire edge of the MOON Discs IR evenly to fit it onto the wheel rim. Make sure to only tap the edge of the disc (the outermost part of the MOON Discs IR, which is flat for about 1 cm). Tapping any other part of the disc will cause the surface to dent. Using gloved hands, tap gently to fit the disc onto the rim (since the MOON Discs IR is made of aluminum, do not use excessive force).
＊Warning: Do not use hard tools like hammers to tap the disc!
Once the edge of the disc and the wheel rim are evenly and securely fitted together, the installation is complete.
The MOON Discs IR’s clips may create a slightly tight fit with the rim during installation to prevent the disc from easily coming off due to vibrations and impacts while driving. The key to installing the disc without damaging it or making mistakes is to be patient and tap evenly to ensure a proper fit.
